Former Cincinnati Reds player and manager Pete Rose is reportedly still married to his second wife, Carol Rose, and is dealing with debt issues.

TMZ Sports reported the news Monday, noting Rose filed for divorce from Carol in 2011, but it is not finalized. The story said Carol filed new divorce documents and asked the judge to force Rose to reveal his financial situation to facilitate a settlement and finalize the divorce.

According to TMZ, the court documents allege Rose is making more than $1 million annually through autographs but is facing "significant debts with casinos and the IRS."

Madeline Kenney of the Chicago Sun-Times noted Rose, 77, has been dating a 38-year-old woman since he filed for the divorce.

Gambling is the reason Rose is not in the Hall of Fame despite being baseball's all-time hit king with 4,256 base hits throughout his career, as then-MLB Commissioner A. Bartlett Giamatti banned him from baseball for life in 1989 because of gambling. CNN provided a timeline of Rose's career and time after baseball.

The former Reds player also admitted to gambling on games when he was Cincinnati's manager during a 2007 ESPN interview, via CNN, and his application for reinstatement was denied in 2015 by MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred.
